MIXED TAPE PROJECT
If you get the chance check this show out. I saw it the last time they did the project and I found it to be really weird, interesting, and fun. I think it cost seven bucks but I might be wrong. It shouldn't be anything above ten. I'm not sure when, but I will probably go see it next week. Do yourself a favor and read about how it works below, go see the show, and write a comment about it...Now!
Shouting orders and spreading the good word about good stuff,
This is Jack Kodiak
Mixed Tape Project:
4 plays written by 4 writers that all include music and a boombox. Each play is distinct, yet flows in and out of what precedes and follows, creating a unified experience not unlike...a really good mixed tape. For the ultimate in flow, writer #2 can only read script 1 before starting, writer #3 reads only script 2 and #4 reads only script 3 and they each carry over one character from the previous play.
Dates:
Thursday April 20th, Friday April 21st, and Saturday April 22nd
Thursday April 27th, Friday April 28th, and Saturday April 29th
The show starts at 8:00 PM at a place called Under St. Marks which is located at 94 St. Mark's Place (between 1st Avenue & Avenue A)
