THIS IS THE MIX, VOL.4
Friday, January 20th, 2007 - 7:00 PM at VBar
THE RULES:
1. Your mix can ONLY contain songs that you have heard in the last 6 months. They DO NOT have to be new songs, they just have to be new to you. For example, if you just heard 'Born in the U.S.A.' for the first time between July - December 2006, and like it, go ahead and add it on to your mix. There is no set number of tracks (no max or minimum). Your mix HAS to be burnt onto a CD that is playable on all basic cd players, NO mp3 cds.
2. You DO NOT have to create sleeve or disc art for your mix. But if you don't I'll make you feel bad.
3. Your cd MUST contain a complete track list (song title and artist), in its proper order, numbered and clearly legible.
4. PLEASE submit your cd to CDDB via itunes or any mp3 database service of your choosing. We all have ipods, except for CHAD, so save everyone the hassle of typing shit in. If you aren't sure how to do this a step by step guide for doing so in itunes will be posted by January 1st, 2007.
5.There are eleven of us this year so you must burn at least TEN copies of your mix to participate.
6.When you arrive at vbar please hand your cds to JOE and order a drink.

Oh, you forgot one of the rules.
After you give your CDs to Joe and order a drink, make sure you wait patiently for Matt Ferrin who will be showing up about an hour and a half late. Make sure you don't gripe to Joe about the "Matt" situation because he has been friends with him for a long time and has had to put up with socially-backwards behavior now for about a decade, so if he can wait without complaints so can you.
And you forgot to tell the new people that everyone is supposed to wear a mask.

Good Call Jack - Sammy G always leaves early, Matt shows up late. Come to think of it, have they ever met? Also folks, Lucky Leo can get you 50% off just about anywhere, except for Vbar, you've got to save Enrico's life to get a free round there.

If Matt shows up late again this time I think you should penalize him by having him walk down the street to Shade bar and do 3 shots of tequila...

And as for Sam, once he enters Vbar we should slather the door with peanutbutter...
...trapping him inside until we see fit.

uhh.. you were late at least two times, maybe three and Chad lives in Florida, he has never shown up... have you ever met the people in the mix?
Also, because Chad lives in Florida, we know he isn't going to show up. When the Mix started, Chad agreed to the terms that his CD would be in NYC by the date of the Mix. When you were nominated, and then invited, you agreed to meet at the specified date & location with you Mix finished and ready for distribution...
...ON TIME.
That was all in the past. Now, with you much like Chad things are a little different. We know Chad will never arrive because he is in Florida, and with you, we NOW know you will never show up on time because you are a flake.
